All positions listed will remain posted above until they are filled. Full-Time positions are 40 hours per week and may require availability for Saturday hours. Part-Time positions are usually 20 hours or less per week depending upon our needs and would require availability for Saturday hours.

Branch Manager - North Phoenix

Job Summary:

The SunWest Federal Credit Union Branch Manager is responsible for leading a team of sales and service professionals to meet and exceed the sales goals and service targets of the organization. Each branch manager is expected to:

  • Work directly with members to uncover and satisfy their financial needs.
  • Ensure the operational excellence of the branch.
  • Maintain the highest level of member service and "Lead from the Lobby," by greeting members, directing them to the appropriate areas of the branch, and ensuring that the customers' needs are met.
  • Observe the branch team in action "through the eyes of the member." Supervise and coach teams on proper execution of key credit union service standards, while role modeling the desired behaviors.
  • Manage overall aspects of running an efficient and productive branch while demonstrating SunWest Federal Credit Union?s core values and exhibiting the expectations of the Mission and Vision Statements.

The position may be required to work weekends and/or extended hours and regular, reliable attendance is critical.

Knowledge Required: (Includes formal education and on-the-job training, licensure, etc.)

High School graduate. Some university or college with an emphasis in business, accounting, economics or communications is preferable. Five (5) years of financial institution experience and three (3) years experience in the Branch Manager position (or equivalent) required.

Full Time Teller - Mesa

Job Summary:

  • Handle and process in an accurate and timely manner member transactions which include, but are not limited to deposits, withdrawals cash advances, loan payments, transfers, travelers cheques, money orders and stop payments.
  • Pay member drafts after verifying the integrity of the draft instrument for proper endorsements and negotiability.
  • Process incoming mail to ensure all deposits and loan payments are properly entered.
  • Provide members with information regarding Credit Union services and cross-sell programs as applicable. May be asked to open new accounts or handle member complaints or problems or assist with safe deposit box rental and admittance.
  • Under dual control process Night Depository, ATM deposit verifications and assist with the verification of cash from correspondent institution.
  • Maintain proper cash levels at teller station and balance teller drawer and perform a final balance at the end of the day.
  • Other sundry duties as may be assigned.

The position may be required to work weekends and/or extended hours and regular, reliable attendance is critical.

Knowledge Required:

High School graduate with 6 plus months of cash handling experience.

Member Information Center Generalist

Job Summary:

Performs various operational tasks pertaining to member record storage and retrieval, document archiving, microfilm/fiche processing, outbound/inbound mail processing, and processes paid loan reports. Provide back-up to numerous functions within the department including TSRs, Supply Specialist, and Records Specialist. Provide exceptional Member Service to members and internal staff at all times.

  • On a daily basis audit archived documents for proper indexing and image quality.
  • Records vault administration: Organize and file documents, titles, and microfilm/fiche; Maintain logs of items removed from the records vault.
  • Perform function of TSR on a daily basis for coverage, as needed.
  • Process paid loan paperwork. Send paid loan docs, deed releases,and collateral titles to members and dealers.
  • On a daily basis, assist with opening the mail under dual control, process returned mail placing bad mail flags on system and contacting members for corrected addresses. Perform address changes received from USPS address change notification cards.
  • Microfilm Processing: Film and log ancillary documents related to daily teller work; Arrange for film development and follow up on timely return of film; View developed film for quality control.
  • Perform functions of Supply Specialist and Records Specialist in backup capacity when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Required: (Includes formal education and on-the-job training, licensure, etc.)

High School graduate or equivalent with good organizational skills. Valid drivers license required
