Secured MasterCard

SunWest makes it easier than ever to obtain a secured MasterCard. You can still secure your MasterCard with the funds on deposit in your SunWest primary share account; however, we have lowered the annual percentage rate and the minimum amount you may borrow.

The Secured MasterCard requires a minimum of $100 on deposit to secure your MasterCard accompanied by a very low rate of 7.9% APR. The maximum amount you may place on hold in order to receive this low rate is $100,000.

As SunWest's "credit-builder" product, the Secured MasterCard is our way of helping our members get the credit they deserve and is also an excellent way to establish a credit history and work on repairing a past credit issue.
