Online account access is authenticated using your member number and a password. The first time you log into Online Banking you will use your Audio Response System, VAL, Access Code. You will be prompted to create a new password after your initial log in. Online Banking passwords must be 6 - 10 characters in length and contain at least one letter and number. Online Banking passwords must be changed on an annual basis. Your password may be changed in the User Options section of Online Banking. If you are unsure of your password or need additional assistance, please contact our Information Center at (602) 866-1100 / toll free (866) 897-9378, or visit any branch office and a member services representative will assist you.
During your initial login you will be prompted to select and answer a series of challenge questions. These challenge questions are used by both our forgotten password feature and multi factor authentication system. By default your computer will be enrolled in the Enhanced Login Security system and future logins will occur with your member number and password only. If you do not enroll your computer, or attempt to access your account from a different computer, you will be required to answer your pre-selected challenge questions before authentication is authorized. Additional computers may be added to the system by clicking on the Enhanced Login Security link located in User Options.
A valid email address is required to enroll in Enhanced Login Security, Online Statements, Online Bill Payment, and to submit a secure form from our web site. SunWest will not provide your email address or any other personal information to any unaffiliated third party's. Your information will be protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy at all times. If you do not have an email address you may obtain a free one from any number of webmail service providers such as Yahoo, MSN, Google.
Your browser must be able to communicate with our site at no less than a 128bit level of encryption. If you are receiving a "page cannot be displayed" message or are being warned that your level of encryption is lower than this standard, you may need to update your Internet browser or enable SSLv3 and 128bit encryption.
